LOVING YOUR WORK
Dear Friend,
Several years ago I worked in a career that gave me a lot of freedom, allowed me to set my own hours, even take off the whole summer to go canoeing, should I so decide. I was completely self employed - and somehing was missing. My chosen career provided the necessities, lots of freedom, flexibility in my work schedule, and did not leave me feeling fulfilled. It took me a good while to figure out that though I enjoyed my work, I did NOT LOVE IT. I now LOVE my work, set my own hours, and provide more than enough for all my needs.
What I would like to ask you is:
- Is the career you have chosen one that feels like a burden?
- Do you feel that you are living the life you were meant to live?
- Are your relationships with your family and friends mutually supportive?
- Do you feel fulfilled?
- Does what you do feel like fun? Or drudgery?
You deserve a career that:
- You are working in a career that is a joy to show up for.
- You get up eager and excited about starting the day.
- Every day is a day to ask: How can I make this day memorable?
- You love every minute of the work you do.
- You are passionate: In your relationships, In your career, in your Legacy.
